The mission of the Bahamas Nurses Union is to provide the Ultimate Representation of its members in a Pro-active manner by keeping pace with their needs and becoming the role bargaining entity for the Bahamian Nursing Professional.

The Bahamas Nurses Union is a dynamic, vibrant institution which was formed by a group of visionaries who believed that the future of nursing in the Bahamas depended largely upon our ability to address our own concerns as relates to terms and conditions of employment. Nurses were at that time, viewed as just a number in the list of public servants, disrespected as professionals with out a voice.
